AUT International performs a crucial role in developing the university's international profile, building international relations, and ensuring the effective delivery of the university's international student recruitment targets.

The Regional Manager is responsible for managing key relationships with education agencies, schools, and institutions in the New Zealand onshore region. They play a leading role in developing and coordinating marketing and recruitment plans, working closely with onshore recruitment staff under the direction of the Senior Manager - International Recruitment.

The role also provides market expertise and analytics, offering insights into current trends, opportunities, and key stakeholders. Additionally, the Regional Manager collaborates with the wider AUT International team to achieve overall and region-specific KPIs, with a particular focus on New Zealand and education agencies in Australia.

You will bring with you:

· Minimum five years' experience working in the International Office or similar environment

· Experience of building and managing relationships with government and private sector recruitment organisations and agents

· A sound understanding of the international education environment in New Zealand and other markets.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver engaging in-person and online presentations to both small and large audiences.

· Proven ability to advise, influence, and collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.

· Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to organise events if required

· High level of IT literacy, including desktop applications - MS software, databases and an understanding of digital communication

· Strong analytical skills to provide proactive solutions to agents, students and the public

· Ability to work well within a team

Salary Range: $91,919 - $104,471 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
