About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Associate Director – University Partnerships to lead and scale our university engagement across the UK.

You’ll drive regional strategy, build senior relationships, lead high-value negotiations, and own revenue and partnership outcomes. This is a high-impact, visible role shaping Amber’s presence across the UK higher education ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Lead UK partnership strategy & institutional expansion
• Build and manage relationships with senior HE stakeholders
• Drive onboarding, adoption & long-term partner success
• Lead negotiations, agreements, and high-impact collaborations
• Own partnership pipeline, performance, and revenue outcomes
• Provide insights to influence strategic planning & product priorities
• Represent Amber at senior HE events, forums & conferences
• Collaborate across Product, GTM, Sales & Operations to ensure seamless execution

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• 5–7 years in HE partnerships/HE leadership/strategic partnerships
• Strong network across UK/IE higher education
• Experience engaging senior HE stakeholders
• Commercial acumen and revenue-linked responsibility
• Excellent communication, negotiation & executive presence
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Experience in student housing, EdTech or international student mobility
• Exposure to scaling partnership models & adoption
• Strategic, data-driven problem-solving mindset
