IH London is currently looking for a dynamic, energetic and highly motivated individual to deliver successful younger learner programme.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Ensure delivery of high quality and successful Younger Learner programmes

2.       Manage quality of delivery in Young Learner Centres; act on feedback and develop robust quality assurance systems to maximise student and agent satisfaction

3.       Support Centre Managers in dealing with student or group leader complaints or queries                                

Develop induction programme for staff, including continually updating staff manuals and training materials
5.       Assist in overseeing centres during operational periods including (but not limited to): recruitment and training of staff (including professional coaches, guest speakers etc.), ensuring centres continually surpass EAQUALS and Accreditation UK standards whilst maintaining agreed gross profit targets

6.       Work with Head of Young Learners to develop new products and delivery of new programmes

7.       Feed into an over-arching strategy for the future of the programmes

 

MAIN DUTIES     

-          Seek out new potential suppliers and negotiate the competitive rates.

-          Prepare the social elements of YL course programmes and create the necessary timetables

-          Manage challenges arising at operational centres by keeping mindful of both commercial and client-relationship needs.

-          Assist with project management of any out-of-season groups or YL programmes operating at IH London

-          Liaise with the Student Services team to ensure that all post-booking documents are being recorded as appropriate (medical forms, flight information, active options, etc)

-          Plan and organise excursion and transfer arrangements for YL courses (transport and entrances)

-          In conjunction with Head of Young Learners, meet with each venue’s Lettings Manager to discuss course planning and facilities

-          Order equipment and supplies for operating centres within budget

-          Assist with sales and initial enquiries if there is no available representation in the sales and marketing team at the time of the enquiry

-          Provide out of hours support to Centre staff, as agreed with Head of Young Learners.

-          Assist with (and when necessary coordinate) agent visits and meetings to the operating venues and hosting visits if required

-          In the absence of the Head of Young Learners, being the point of contact for YL enquiries from direct bookings or agents and support centre staff.

-          Any other appropriate duties that may be required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The following are essential:
Education

·         Degree

·         Safeguarding course, ‘child protection level 3’ or equivalent

Experience and knowledge:

·         Experience of working in Young Learner operations

·         Microsoft Excel (intermediate – advanced), Word and PowerPoint

·         English at minimum C1 level

The following are desirable:
·         Project management skills

·         Fluency in another language, in addition to English

·         Strong team management

·         Academic qualification – Delta or equivalent

·         CRM systems including inputting bookings, creating and running reports, analysing data and maintaining the accuracy of records.
