Oxford International Education Group (Oxford International) is further expanding its Global Recruitment Unit to help maximise the opportunities offered by its  university pathway partners and a multimillion pound new sixth-form building, augmenting the already highly-rated Oxford International College independent school in Oxford.

These exciting developments, alongside the continuing success of the Group’s existing pathway partners, D’Overbroeck’s School and Oxford Sixth Form College, and well-established English language schools and educational tours businesses located in the UK and North America, will drive the Group as it seeks to double its turnover in the coming four years. Active engagement in new business opportunities and potential new partners will bring further opportunities for growth.

To realise our ambitious growth plans Oxford International is looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager UK to provide effective professional support for the Pathways’ strategic and operational recruitment objectives across the UK agent markets across the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This role will involve close working relationships with the Regional Sales Director for EMEA.

The Role

As Regional Sales Manager UK, you will have responsibility for delivering Oxford International Education Group’s recruitment objectives in the UK based agent markets, many of whom support us in our recruitment of Chinese students, through the implementation of sales and marketing activity plans.  The role will include recruitment travel in the UK.
 

Main duties and responsibilities

Recruitment

  • To work with the Regional Sales Director and Senior Regional Manager UK to achieve the recruitment target.
  • To work with the Regional Sales Director and Senior Regional Manager UK to support the Pathways’ recruitment objectives through attendance at recruitment events across its UK international market.
  • To work with colleagues across Marketing and Student Recruitment to implement market-focused activity plans targeting UK Agencies.
  • To build effective working relationships with the Colleges and deliver collaborative recruitment activities to achieve enrolment targets.
  • To attend recruitment events and advise/counsel student enquirers/applicants.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Eligibility to live, work and travel freely in the UK (the role is capable of Tier 2 sponsorship)
  • Meet statutory and organisational child-safeguarding requirements
  • Educated to degree level
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Significant experience in educational sales in order ‘to hit the ground running’ and have an immediate impact
  • Excellent knowledge of the region and its market trends
  • Excellent knowledge of the international HE and 6th Form market
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the products associated with international HE and 6th Form
  • Experience of producing sales reports

Desirable

  • Certified training in sale and/or marketing programmes
  • Degree in a business or marketing-related subject
  • Good knowledge of Oxford International’s portfolio of products and partners
