Holmes Education Group is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Student Recruitment Officer to manage the recruitment pipeline to our Schools and Universities Globally.

Working alongside our Director of Global Engagement, Director of Admissions and Director for Business Development, you will be tasked with achieving ambitious recruitment targets via a network of student recruitment agents in South Korea and other parts of South East Asia, building relationships with partners in South Korea and co-ordinating our direct marketing activities for Holmes Education Group in the region. In this newly created role, you will have a wide scope to implement tactical sales and marketing activities, under the guidance of our experienced team of sales, marketing, and recruitment managers.

We have identified the biggest opportunities to be in Holmes Institute Dublin, Canada and also Sol Camps Global. However it is required that you are continuing to look for new opportunities in the sector.

This is very much a hands-on role. You will be involved with agents and students on a daily basis, working alongside staff based overseas as well as our senior teams based in London and Australia. You should have experience of sales, student recruitment or marketing in an education setting – this role would particularly suit someone at the start of their career in student recruitment.

Skills and Attributes

●      A Natural Salesperson: You will be selling daily and must love chasing down ambitious sales targets.

●      Digital Skills: You will have a broad understanding of the social media platforms used by our target audience and will be able to advise on the best way to utilise these channels to engage current and future students.

●      Organised and Meticulous: You will need to use the technology available to stay on top of your pipeline.

●      Leadership Skills: The ongoing motivation and development of the team is a key aspect of this role – you will be the sales champion for our London activity.

●      Industry Knowledge: You should possess knowledge of the education market, particularly in relation to international education and traveling for study.

●      Service Oriented: You respond quickly and accurately to a range of enquiries from colleagues and customers alike.

●      Strategy Driven: You are able to co-ordinate with your Business Development Manager on the strategy to drive growth in South Korea and are able to implement strategies as well as look for new opportunities and provide market intel

The role is based full-time and fully remote, but you will expect to be ready to travel to other parts of Asia or for Holmes Events Globally.

Our Mission

Holmes Education Group has always been a little different. Indeed, our fresh approach to education has driven much of our growth and success over the years. Rather than simply follow industry norms, we focus our energies on raising educational standards and expectations by constantly refining - and often reinventing - the programs and services we offer. Everyday we seek to improve upon the status quo, guided by our four underlying business philosophies:

Industry Shapers

Three decades of industry firsts. At Holmes Education Group we're proud to be pioneers of the international student sector. Never content to just follow the crowd, we're nimble, adaptable and highly responsive. We always place deep value on finding smarter ways to drive better outcomes for our students and partners.

Business Smarts

Acumen meets academia. As an independently-owned entrepreneurial group, we're not bound by traditional education thinking. We're a business of passionate education providers who bring an unashamed savvy to everything we do, applying industry-leading commercial smarts to drive sustainable academic excellence.

Staying Tight, Doing Right

We're family, but not in the traditional sense. We're a dynamic group of like-minded and highly driven professionals. We work hard, move fast and have fun along the way. Success is important, but not at any cost. We believe the more we do what's right by our students and business partners, the more success will follow.

Diversity Breeds Strength

Diverse sectors, diverse brands, diverse opportunities. By nature we're very ambitious. But we still take a considered approach to everything we do, managing risks and growth in equal measure. Our acquisition mindset means we're always ready to capitalise on new opportunities to broaden and diversify our education footprint.
