Kings Premium Universities (kingsunis.com) offers a unique opportunity for student enrolment professionals within the US university pathway sector. With exciting development plans underway, new partnerships are imminent in both Missouri and Wisconsin in addition to existing centres in California, New York, Massachusetts and Oregon. A new product range will particularly target the graduate market, especially from the South and East Asia regions.
Kings are now looking to engage an experienced Regional Director, with a proven track record of success, for a region of key future strategic importance to the company. The post holder will initially be responsible for the growth of student enrolment from India into Kings Premium Universities in the US. The role will include working with key partners through multiple channels, and the sourcing, training and development of a high-performance student enrollment team.

Overall accountabilities
- The role focuses on developing student enrollment from both existing and new Kings Education recruitment sources aswell as building a successful enrollment team.
- The immediate objective is to build student recruitment from India to Kings Premium Universities in the US. This will require the development and growth of binding, profitable and sustainable relationships with key sending partners, usually either educational agents or institutions. This will ensure the Kings brand ethos and values are clearly understood in a crowded market.
Specific enrollment accountabilities:
- Maximize student enrollments, meeting target recruitment and product objectives within budget.
- Develop a multi-channel recruitment strategy through educational agents, institutions, and direct student inquiries.
- Provide outstanding account support to partners through training and relationship building activities.
- Manage partner and student data effectively to ensure clear visibility and progression of inquiries through the recruitment and enrollment process.
- Work closely with US Admissions staff and colleagues to ensure consistently high service standards.
- Build a strong relationship with relevant professional bodies and influencers, including Education USA, US Embassy and Consulate offices, to understand market trends and raise Kings profile.
- Attend student fairs, workshops and other events as needed. Extensive travel will be required.
Specific marketing accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a brand building strategy in conjunction with Kings marketing and communication colleagues.
- Contribute to and develop a social media strategy for Kings and implement it in collaboration with Kings colleagues and external providers as appropriate.
- Develop corporate/institutional networks and organise brand building events/initiatives accordingly.
Key performance indicators:
- Meet / exceed annual new student enrollment objectives within budget.
- Develop and execute a multi-channel recruitment strategy.
- Demonstrate significant growth in and engagement with Kings’ brand and reputation in India.
- Consistent excellent feedback from key sending partners and colleagues with regard to the professionalism, speed and friendliness of service.
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will offer a robust combination of drive, experience and personal qualities which can translate vision and understanding into realistic strategies. This will be demonstrated by sound decision-making, the development of successful working relationships, a broadening of student progression opportunities and increased student recruitment.
The strongest candidates will:
- possess and promote a passion for education and strong background in the marketing of and recruitment to colleges and universities in the USA.
- experience in managing a successful team, ideally in higher education recruitment. A solid history of staff recruitment, development, training, and mentoring.
- demonstrate strong leadership qualities, including the ability to provide direction and motivation to others through communication, high achievement, positivity and personal integrity
- have a strong understanding of US education systems, particularly in the university and pathway sector. Personal experience of university study in the USA would be a distinct advantage.
- be detail and process orientated, thrive on working to deadlines and achieving clearly defined KPIs, able to take the initiative, working effectively both independently and as a team-player.
- have very strong commercial awareness, particularly in international student recruitment and in the establishment and development of relationships with agents and partner institutions.
- be supportive and motivational leaders and influencers with excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in relevant local languages would be an advantage.
- have strong IT skills with familiarity with Microsoft packages and other technologies.
- demonstrate good judgement, problem-solving skills, emotional and cultural empathy and intelligence, integrity, resilience, flexibility, energy, authority and a good sense of humour.
