About the role

Recognition is the commercial underpinning of any product or test, deeply linked to sales and an integral part of the value proposition Trinity College London offers to the markets.

Reporting to Trinity’s Head of International Recognition, the Recognition Business Development Manager will work on getting quality leads, converting them through the pipeline and reaching established KPIs. You will support the advancement of the recognition footprint of Trinity’s exams by assisting in b2b work and growing company’s sales. Drawing on your prior knowledge and experience, you will support Recognition efforts within the scope of products sale. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing leads, effectively initiates communication and work through the pipeline to convert them to reach KPIs
  • Undertake analysis and prepare reports using CRM
  • Keep contacts/records up to date on the CRM
  • Working in collaboration with marketing to prepare social media calendar and posts and ad hoc campaigns
  • Prepare presentations and papers as requested in support of new opportunities
  • Represent the organization by participating in online/face-to-face industry events as required
  • Monitoring competitor activity/Market research as required

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required for the Recognition Business Development Manager role. 

 

About You

We are looking for the following in you:

  • A degree in an Arts, Language or Business-related subject., or equivalent. 
  • Sales/business development experience, ideally within international education or the EFL industry
  • Experience of using a CRM, ideally HubSpot
  • Experience in Social Media plan and writing/design campaigns.
  • Ability to apply intellectual rigour and understanding, able to analyse, interpret, explain, and summarise complex data and issues in a logical manner.
  • Highly organised and motivated, with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and a challenging workload; committed to achieving targets.
  • Clearly evidenced presentation and communication skills including the ability to adapt methods and styles to suit the audience.
  • You will be an analytical thinker who is motivated and tenacious, sales-oriented and goal-driven with excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to represent Trinity at external events in a professional manner.

The following skills are desirable, though not essential: 

  • Experience working in ELT/international education
  • Knowledge of English Language assessments
  • B2B experience in the internal education space
  • Knowledge of industry stakeholders (e.g., British Council, Ofqual, English UK)
