Oxford School of English seeks a high-calibre, experienced individual to take control of marketing, to develop and implement an extensive marketing strategy to drive student recruitment worldwide and to play a vital role in the college’s expansion into other academic areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to devise and introduce a structured marketing programme for a long-established and highly reputable college, where none has previously existed.

Key areas of responsibility include:

·         The development and implementation of a structured and comprehensive strategy for all marketing, advertising, social media, student recruitment, lead generation and lead scoring

·         Set and meet key performance indicators for student recruitment, agent recruitment and management, partnership development and alumni engagement

·         The development and management of strategies for opening new markets worldwide

·         Develop and manage the departmental budget and resource allocation, and implement systematic reporting and accountability mechanisms

·         Production and management of all marketing materials and social media

·         Monitoring progress against targets

·         In close conjunction with management and academic staff, researching the strategic expansion of the school’s core business into other academic areas and courses

·         Maximise the effectiveness of OSE’s websites and social media platforms

·         Demonstrable knowledge of current trends and effective practices in marketing and advertising

·         Ability to clearly articulate marketing challenges and opportunities

·         Diligent fiscal manager with a proven record of managing budgets

·         Quick to absorb and analyse information

·         Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic

·         Highly organised and flexible

·         A willingness to travel extensively

 

Education and qualifications required:

A sound education (to first degree level at least) and competence in spoken and written English.

 

Experience:

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of directly-related marketing and sales experience, with demonstrable success.
