At the PIE Talent, we work on mid- to senior-level positions for a range of clients globally including schools, universities, pathway providers and service providers.

The Role

We are looking for an organised and motivated Marketing & Research Assistant to join our busy team.

Within your research capabilities, you will support the PIE Talent team and work closely with the team on exec search roles, supporting in online search, reach out and general administration tasks. For more experienced and motivated candidates, there will be the opportunity to manage recruitment projects independently.

Within the marketing function of this role, you will work across all our social media platforms for the wider company – promoting the employment progression opportunities we offer within the industry we serve, via The PIE Talent, our Jobs Board, and also contributing to social media for wider needs of the business. This is likely to include podcasts, our video content, editorial coverage and promotion for our popular annual awards ceremony.


Duties include:

·         Conducting research on candidates for roles and reaching out, working with the Global Account Director in question.

·         Compiling target spreadsheets (candidate and client)

·         Updating the database with candidate information

·         Organising interview schedules

·         Reference checking

·         General admin support where required

·         Managing recruitment projects as and when required

·         Being involved Social Media channels for company-wide activity




·         Organised, efficient and detail oriented

·         Independent operator – two days per week are worked remotely

·         Experience using social media platforms and online design tools (such as Canva or similar)

·         Creative artistic eye

·         Positive and persistent

·         Team player, happy to work in a multicultural environment 

·         Desire to learn and grow

·         Experience in a research or marketing role would be a plus
