As Manager, International Initiative Development, you will contribute to the implementation of the University’s international goals and objectives through the development of international initiatives aimed at increasing student cohort recruitment opportunities and enhancing diversity of the student body. You will create revenue generating activities in new recruitment pathways, study abroad packaging and programs and offshore teaching opportunities and collaborations.  You will also be responsible for providing market relevant intel on future opportunities in relevant markets, including over the horizon assessment of future opportunities.

This position will involve domestic and international travel.

Salary: (HEO8) $95,493 - $107,179 per annum.

Superannuation: An employer contribution of 17% may apply.

Term of position: This fixed term position is available immediately for three years with the possibility of conversion to continuing at the end of this period subject to success of initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

To be successful you will have:

  • An effective understanding of internationalisation issues related to recruitment within higher education
  • Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives to achieve deliverable outcomes consistently over a sustained period
  • Experience in effectively improving processes, including to ensure compliance, and empowering others to do the same
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships, both internal and external to the organisation to leverage strategic relationships and achieve targets.
