The Admissions team seeks to provide an excellent student experience for those seeking entry to Murdoch University.  This involves technical and administrative services in support of the University’s external engagement and student recruitment strategy. The team comprises International and Domestic Admissions, Advanced Standing and Accreditation and must liaise extensively with other teams to provide quality information, ensure a smooth student journey and removing ineffective or unintentional barriers to entry.

The team provides expert advice for University Admissions Related Policy, entry requirements, process design and legislative requirements and represents the University at state and national fora.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Student Administration, the Manager Admissions role is responsible for the leadership and operational management of the Admissions team and function.  This team is responsible for processing Domestic and International Admissions as well as coordinating communications and other activities in support of the Directorate’s student recruitment efforts.

Skills and Experience

The preferred candidate will have:

  • A strong focus on adapting systems and processes to support student experience.
  • Experience in leading a team in a high volume, high speed administrative environment.
  • High quality communications and analysis capabilities.
  • Experience in University administration and quality assurance.
