The Role

A recruitment and sales orientated role within a busy Higher Education environment where you will be converting enquiries from both UK and International Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students. You will be managing the sales and application process through to enrolment for International markets, specifically the Middle East and North Africa. The role is ideal for a educational recruitment professional or recruitment consultant with a proven track record - you will be targeted on student placements onto our various courses. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving the recruitment targets for the assigned markets, in line with corporate objectives
  • Effectively communicate with prospects through multiple communication channels to achieve the recruitment targets
  • To work closely with the regional team to advise on strategies and marketing activity to ensure recruitment targets are achieved
  • To support and maintain an agent network in each market to assist with international student recruitment
  • To undertake international travel as and when necessary in support of the work of QAHE and the achievement of regional recruitment targets
  • To act as an ambassador of the QAHE Marketing and Recruitment team, representing the Regional team when required, at senior level meetings, and presentations
  • In conjunction with the Regional Manager develop a diverse range of systems, processes and strategies to maximise the effectiveness of sales activities
  • Working closely with the Admissions team to ensure all applications are processed effectively and within agreed service level agreements
  • Take ownership of the whole enrolment process, and build effective relationships throughout the student journey from enquiry to enrolment
  • Ensure that any enrolment systems are updated and maintained in line with QAHE guidelines

Skills & Experience Required

  • Track record of success in a recruitment and/or a sales environment
  • Ability to speak another language is preferable, e.g. Arabic
  • The ability to operate well within a team environment.
  • Driven and motivated by a target based culture
  • Self-Starter, quick to take the initiative and spot new opportunities
  • Commercially focussed, capable of delivering results in a cost effective manner
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative with a delivery focus
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Capable of building working relationships and networks with people from a range backgrounds and cultures
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer focus, committed to ensuring delivery of excellent service standards
  • Ability to operate at all levels of the organisation acting as an ambassador for the International Office and University internally and externally.
