The Host Tutor Manager position

The Host Tutor Manager sits at the centre of all our operations. From the development and implementation of tutor recruitment and retention strategies, to the design and implementation of academic and safeguarding standards, course content and itinerary development, the HTM plays a vital role in ensuring tutor availability, successful course delivery, and the maintenance of academic and commercial standards.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Host Tutor Manager is the main point of contact at InTuition for all registered and potential tutors and leads the Academic Management Team.

The role is based in our central London office. Semi-remote working (travelling to the office one or two days a week and working from home otherwise) is a possibility. Considerable travel within the UK and Ireland, in order to visit and inspect host tutors, is an integral part of the role.

·         You have experience in the ELT industry and hold a CELTA / Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent qualification

·         You have a bachelor’s degree or experience to an equivalent standard

·         You have a full UK driving licence

·         You speak English to a C2 standard

   

You might have:

·         A DELTA / Trinity Dip TESOL or equivalent

·         Experience in academic management

·         Experience in managing a small team

·         Experience in safeguarding

·         Knowledge of British Council standards for accredited language schools

·         Experience in recruitment or sales

·         Capability in a foreign language

·         Experience in working with the Salesforce CRM system
