The International School of English (ISE Ireland) is hiring a Head of Sales and Business Development to manage and build our sales representative network. The role is a critical part to the future strategy of the School.

This role represents a huge opportunity for any sales and marketing professional who has lead an agent network in the past, and will be an exciting position for them to become a Manager of an international sales representative team tailored to reach English language students and agents around the World.

Over the past 18 years International School Of English (ISE) Ireland has accumulated a wealth of experience in delivering quality educational programmes The International School of English is recognised by ACELS / QQI & MEI for English Language Teaching (ELT) and is certified as a preparation centre for the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations and are a registered Exam centre for Trinity. We operate at 3 different locations in Dublin City with our Adult and Junior English Schools.

The International Student Recruitment Officer will grow the demand and sales for the International student market at ISE Ireland through developing and executing sales plans.

Reporting to

You will be working closely with the CEO / Director of Operations and the International Sales and Marketing Director. 

 

Responsibilities

·         The Head of Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for defining and executing the global sales strategy for ISE Ireland. This includes everything from defining the value proposition, go-to-market approach, potential target agent list and marketing activities. You will have end-to-end process ownership and responsibility from lead generation to on-boarding you’re new clients, pitching, closing and everything else in between.

·         The successful candidate will be required to implement Sales & Marketing Plan to ensure student enrolment targets are achieved. Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a selected network of recruitment channels which will involve travelling within the EU , Asia, Middle East region. This is a high-pressure, sales-driven, and rewarding role which offers excellent career development opportunities.

 

·         Manage agent relationships, with emphasis on training and support to ensure high loyalty and performance

·         Manage the regional distribution of all marketing/ outreach efforts related to school exhibitions

·         Assist in development of regional sales budget

 

Requirements:

·         Proven track record of delivering sales targets within the international student sector

·         Track record in strategic planning and new business development specifically in the EU, EMEA, LATAM and Asia.

·         Existing strong relationships with agents in the English Language schools sector.

·         Strong track record in managing external distributors or sales teams across several countries.

·         Proven success in new market expansion.

·         Experience with Salesforce.

·         Excellent presentation skills - both oral and written - with the ability to present to highest levels of an organization.

 ·         Strong project management capabilities and experience with working with technical teams to steer the technical implementation of new projects.

·         Ability to forecast and budget revenues across markets, solid working knowledge of xls and ppt.

·         Fluency in multiple languages ( Spanish, Italian,Portugese ) would be a distinct advantage

·         Ability to identify and develop new opportunities and markets through direct sales channels

·         Ideally able to start immediately
