Applications are invited for an exciting new permanent full-time role at Wrexham Glyndwr University to lead the International Office, with responsibility for marketing, recruitment and compliance management of international students. The post-holder will work to further develop and strengthen international recruitment streams to the University, and be a significant contributor to the next iteration of the University’s International Strategy. The Head of International will report directly to the Pro Vice Chancellor.

Wrexham Glyndwr University has significantly developed its international recruitment footprint over the last few years, and now is looking to grow the International Office team, including with this key leadership role, and to revisit the strategy to ensure the development of a sustainable growth trajectory. 

The successful applicant will have substantial experience in UK university international recruitment, and have a detailed and in-depth understanding of UKVI compliance matters. They will possess in-depth knowledge of international higher education and will possess excellent cultural awareness, ambassadorial, organisational, team-working and communication skills. A willingness to work flexibly and engage in travel will be required.

Welsh language skills are desirable for this role.
