We are now seeking to appoint a Global Recruitment Manager on a permanent basis to lead a team of Global Recruitment Officers based in the UK and overseas. This role is central to the delivery of the new global recruitment strategy, through which the University seeks to expand and diversify its international recruitment markets and channels. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Global Recruitment, the Global Recruitment Manager will have responsibility for managing a team of five, and will also have regional responsibility for student recruitment from the Middle East and North Africa. 

The post holder is required to represent the University autonomously overseas on a regular basis.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing, results-focused recruitment team that works collaboratively across the University to deliver sector-leading recruitment.
  • Achieving of the University’s student recruitment targets for your team and from within your personal region of responsibility.
  • Delivering specific recruitment related projects.
  • Creating and implementing strategic marketing plans and business cases.

You should have:

  • Experience of working to and delivering on targets and business objectives.
  • Management experience and the ability to objectively evaluate business and personal performance.
  • An understanding of the role and criticality of data, with a strong track record of implementing innovative ideas and challenging existing assumptions.
  • Experience of delivering projects to time and to budget.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
