The ELA sales team is growing and we are looking for an organised and detailed Sales Executive work on both direct and agency leads. This role encompasses the two sides of sales in the English Language market – direct and agency.
As a point of contact to our direct audience, the Sales Executive will be dealing with student leads online and offline, through our CRM system, our social media channels, on the phone, and where required, face to face at the campus. As an agency contact point, the role will include working with agency partners, attending education fairs and in company visits.
The right candidate must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with an ambition to develop within sales.
Communication is key to this role, which expects the Sales Executive to have high levels of confidence to work on the phone, via email and in person. Due to the financial responsibilities of the role, the candidate must be confident with making calculations and quickly become proficient in the process of managing bookings, invoices, and confirmation letters.
Our Sales Executive must demonstrate an extensive knowledge of our product, which makes for positive conversations with students and agency partners, and support them in making the right decisions with regards study programmes.
Key responsibilities
· Build relationships with prospective students and agencies to foster trust and support their questions throughout the enquiry stage
· Work with the International Sales Team to maximise opportunities to convert leads to enrolments
· Deliver an exceptional level of customer care at each stage of the student journey for direct and building relationships with new agency partners, while maintaining relationships with existing partners
· Support prospects with certain aspects of immigration requirements for international travel
· Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of global markets, including cultural differences
· Update information and upload documents to our CRM system ensuring everything is in place for student enrolments
· Provide accurate information needed for visa applications, accommodation services and confirmation of bookings
· Support the process of requesting and booking accommodation for students, such as homestay and on campus residence
· Manage payments and outstanding issues prior to students’ arrival
· Communicate effectively within and outside the global organisation
· Demonstrate awareness of all internal procedures with regards to quality issues
· Communicate effectively between all internal and external teams to ensure the relevant team members have sufficient information to be able to achieve the best service results
Key abilities and skills
· 3+ years sales experience in the ELT sector including work with agency partners
· Advanced English skills (both spoken and written), with an ability to speak other languages
· Focus on results and problem-solving to improve conversion rates
· Good understanding of lead generation and digital marketing channels (i.e. social media, Google Ads)
· Experience using a CRM system for communication with prospects
· Flexible approach to overcome communication issues, such as language barriers
· Flexibility to travel for fairs, events and in company visits
· Objection handling skills to guide students to making informed decisions
· Ability to work to deadlines delivering expected results
· Hard working, well organised, and energetic
· Spoken and written Spanish, French and Italian an advantage
