The Marketing Events & Campaigns Executive is responsible for supporting the marketing and commercial team through content creation, campaign execution and event management and operations, including but not limited to: email marketing, blog creation and curation, B2B social media, and identifying, booking and seamlessly coordinating our own UK and US events, sponsorship of global conferences, and in-house webinars, with the goal of creating new business opportunities and growing our brand.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Identifying US/UK/international conference/sponsorship opportunities relevant to target audience and content plan, booking and organising, dealing with associated admin, social media and event marketing.
  2. Supporting the events manager with planning, organising and marketing Net Natives’ own in-house UK and US events (online, offline and hybrid).
  3. Planning, writing and editing content for a range of communications such as direct response emails, blogs and reports and coordinating award submissions.
  4. Working with the marketing and commercial team on marketing and content strategies to support the above.
  5. Make sure that new contacts and leads are added to our CRM and martech platform, with appropriate post-event comms and nurture programmes.

Requirements

• 1-2 years demonstrable experience in a B2B marketing, events or content role

• A strong writer and able to craft impeccable persuasive and tight copy across email, blogs, social media and white papers/reports. Able to adapt your style to your target audience, adapt to various tones of voice for different brands, etc. .

• Relentless attention and focus on the detail.

• Experience in supporting the organisation and delivery of either online or offline events (preferably both).

• Proactive and eager to learn attitude, with the capacity for independent initiative.

• A great team player, resilient, embraces change and quick changes in direction and a positive thinker.

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

• Interested in student behaviours and attitudes.

• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Creative, innovative and brave, able to challenge the status quo and pitch ideas to improve processes and ways of working

• Previous experience in marketing and understanding of the education cycle (UK and/or US) and challenges impacting the higher education industry a big plus.

• A degree or professional qualification in a relevant subject is desirable
