The Director of Student Services and Admissions is accountable for the leadership, planning and overall management of a wide range of administrative functions which enable students’ access to ACG’s portfolio of Colleges and courses. Reporting to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Contribute to ACG’s strategic objectives by providing analysis and strategic advice to Senior Managers and Academic committees on compliance, welfare, accommodation, admissions as well as arising issues, enrolment and conversion trends and potential opportunities
  • Ensure full transparency of the pipeline and the service levels achieved
  • Ensure compliance to NZQA, Code of Practice Office, Ministry of Education and Immigration New Zealand
  • Provide strategic policy advice to Senior Managers on admissions policy, admissions trends, and future directions
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to achieve agreed targets


You will be providing role model leadership and an excellent customer service ethic whilst embracing and working effectively within an environment of rich cultural diversity, being a genuine member of the team, you will lead by example and facilitate a collaborative and inclusive culture. To be considered for this role you will have extensive experience in admissions and Student Services in an academic management role in a New Zealand or Australian education provider with knowledge of compliance and immigration from either region, accompanied by sound business skills, commercial acumen, and excellent relationship management with a compassionate and empathetic style.
