Summary of Positions 

* Position: University Relations Manager (International) *

 Official Job Title: Consultant, International Relations

Due to a repositioning of the company to fulfil a global growth agenda, The Chopras is looking for  multiple University Relations Managers aka International Relations Consultants* to move to their office in Delhi. These roles will manage 25 – 30 university accounts and will work with teams on the ground in different locations to help reach university enrolment targets and form an integral and strategic conduit between the university partners of The Chopras and the company in India.

The Chopras has a number of verticals to its business and is growing at a fast rate, meaning that there are many opportunities for the right candidates to grow and develop with the company and gain global experience within a well known business success story within international education.

India remains one of the fastest-growing international education source markets in the world and there are huge commercial and personal development opportunities on offer. Professionals with international student recruitment experience (ideally from Higher Ed) are preferred, with strategic thinking and commercial relationship management. Candidates from outside of India are encouraged to apply. A background in India isn’t necessary but might be useful. 


Key Responsibilities  

Management of a group of key university relationships and enhanced responsibilities in complex client interactions while playing a significant role in influencing management thinking and actions. Managing relationships through understanding university clients, offering personalized solutions and using the available resources to improve our market position and ability to create long term value for key stakeholders.

Person Specification 

Exceptional level of expertise in higher education and a high degree of market exposure with regards to career opportunities, skill shortages and industry dynamics

Exposure to working in International markets

Proven experience in driving business outcomes for corporate clients

Experience in the higher education and international recruitment space while not a prerequisite, would be strongly preferred

Self-directed, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to execute tasks with absolute efficiency and while meeting timelines

High understanding of consumer behaviour for professional services

Strong leadership skills with effective organisational and planning capabilities

Ability to drive data-driven decision making

A strong sense of integrity

Highly motivated and positive with a can-do attitude.
