As a result of exciting developments in both the USA and UK, the company is now looking to recruit an outstanding individual for the position of Recruitment and Marketing Manager to support our market in China with a proven track record of success in the relevant fields, for regions of key future strategic importance to Kings.   • Meet/ exceed annual recruitment targets for Kings USA Pathways delivered through multiple channels from designated regions
  • Conduct regular and successful overseas recruitment visits, set up by in close conjunction with the Regional teams
  • Work closely and collaboratively with each target Regional Director/ Regional Manager to oversee the delivery of the annual recruitment objectives
  • Represent the regional voice actively during US team meetings and with admissions staff ensuring that colleagues have a clear understanding of the regions; key agents and regional admissions specifics
  • Support the US team to build recruitment based on tangible market oriented improvements to processes, outcomes and service
  • Provide ongoing training, support and detailed product knowledge to Kings regional recruitment team and key agents in the target regions
  • Assist with the development and delivery of an annual (and 3-year) student recruitment plan
  • Take a lead role in the set-up, organization and successful execution of agent visits to USA, including follow up.


  • Liaise closely with the Progression and Recruitment teams to develop large bank of video/photo testimonials of student progression stories and a network of alumni or ambassadors, happy to work with Kings
  • Work with Kings marketing and operations team to develop training tools for colleagues and external partners highlighting key unique selling features
  • Gain and share in-depth market and competitor knowledge of the US higher ed
  • Actively contribute to improving the marketing communications strategy for Kings US Pathway programs in concert with the global marketing team.

Position requirements/ skills required

  • Experience in successfully planning and executing recruitment and marketing strategies
  • Excellent organization, research skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as demonstrated ability to proactively and effectively work in a team environment
  • Fluency in Chinese preferred
  • Fluency in both oral and written English
  • International travel including weekends (50% international travel)

Desirable skills

  • Previous experience in promoting educational programs across Asia
  • Experience working in an international organization
  • Experience recruiting in higher education in the US
  • US degree preferred
