Backed by the GEMS Education Group, Pamoja is entering its second major growth phase where it intends to move into other international education markets to continue its mission to deliver outstanding secondary education.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, we are seeking a highly-motivated Business Development Consultant to proactively impact significant market growth for Pamoja’s suite of online courses, selling directly to schools all around the world. The role would ideally suit candidates with strong relationship building, account management, and B2B sales experience. If you have a passion for international education and have the proven ability to develop long-lasting client relationships and drive consultative business development opportunities, we would like to hear from you.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside bright, mission-driven colleagues that are passionate about making a difference, in a diverse, friendly and informal environment.  With the continued expansion of the business you will have the opportunity to develop a strong career development path.

  • Manage all new customer opportunities through the Pamoja sales cycle; from identifying new sales leads, to closed business, ensuring all opportunities are logged accurately in the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Plan, organise and structure daily & weekly outbound calling activities
  • Promote and evangelise the entire range of learning and development solutions, services and products by establishing contact with clients, typically over the phone, but also by email and face-to-face
  • Lead online and face-to-face demos of Pamoja’s products to schools and key stakeholders
  • Continual development of a pipeline of prospective clients; identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to existing clients
  • Represent Pamoja Education at regional, national and international conferences and other key events as appropriate

You will be a team player with exceptional communication and influencing skills, coupled with the ability to work in a fast and dynamic environment. The ability to be a self-starter and manage an autonomous workload is a must.

Previous experience of working within the education sector would be highly advantageous, alongside account management and B2B sales experience. The ability to adapt your approach to a variety of international stakeholders through various communication channels would also set you apart.
