FPP EDU Media is looking to expand its sales team in North America with the recruitment of a
Business Development Manager. This role is to be based from home in USA.

As a Business Development Manager, the successful candidate’s main responsibility will be
building upon a large client base, focusing on some existing customers, but largely bringing new
business to the company. This will be achieved by selling FPP’s international student recruitment
events and online services to interested and qualified educational institutions.

The role will cover states in the western half of the US, and incorporate all educational sectors
from language schools to masters programs. The role will involve regular business trips including
FPP-organized events; industry events locally and internationally, and self-planned road trips
throughout the USA.

Candidates must be self-starters, self-motivated and comfortable working from home in a
geographically dispersed yet committed and friendly team. The successful candidate will thrive
in a solution sales environment helping our customers achieve their student recruitment goals.
S/he should be capable of dealing with owners of the largest schools and senior management of
universities in the US, by consulting on appropriate student recruitment activities; assisting in their
decision-making, and representing FPP in a professional and ethical manner.

Working in a fast-paced and highly-innovative company, with future projects in the pipeline, you
will be comfortable handling multiple clients and shifting focus onto these projects effectively
and efficiently

Desired Skills & Experience

The successful candidate must thrive in a solution sales environment - working from home on the
telephone and via email, and be ready to independently manage an existing client base as well
as seek new business for the company.

Initiative, independence and organizational skills are key assets, specifically as they relate to
structuring efficient work days and contacting existing but primarily new customers in order to
achieve pre-determined targets.

The successful candidate will be experienced in telephone-led sales and must have no concerns
in making calls to new and existing customers. Knowledge of the international education industry
within the US, and experience in working within or alongside international student recruitment
circles are mandatory
