We are seeking a results-driven International Sales Manager to join our team at Burchetts Green, near Maidenhead. You will already be a sales professional with a proven track record in identifying and selling EFL courses specifically in the junior market. The position will focus on both the development of both existing accounts and the securing of new business through our extensive global database of contacts. (Approximately 50/50 split of account management and new sales).

In addition to managing your own portfolio of clients, your previous experience as a sales manager will also be utilised to evaluate our current sales and account management processes in order to further develop or sales team capability.

We are in the process of reviewing the structure of our sales team and as a result are open to individuals who have broad international experiance. It would be expected that the successful candidate would spend approximately 10 – 12 weeks per year travelling and this will include to both new and existing clients as well as attending events and exhibitions in order to develop more business.

 

Position Responsibilities:-

 

·         Deliver and achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets for your designated region and clients

·         Increase student sales from the region through the identification, qualification and closing of sales opportunities with both new and existing customers

·         Provide customers with sales quotations in order achieve targeted revenue

·         Identify and diarise annual trade fair opportunities and coordinate with marketing team in order to ensure representation from ALS

·         Extend existing relationships with customers through a structured programme of communication including updates to current products and services as well general business updates

·         Work with ALS sales and marketing team to define sales strategy as well as developing region specific marketing collateral

·         Support social media marketing activity to increase sales activity

 

Candidate Skills & Experience:

 

·         Bachelor Degree in a business related subject or relevant direct experience in a similar area

·         Working to KPI’s and targets in a sales position with an Education focus

·         Strong customer facing skills including presentation, written and oral communication

·         Experience preparing sales and business development proposals

·         Attention to detail and ability to prioritise and work under pressure to achieve results

·         Previous experience developing relationships with customers both face to face and remote
