The Role 

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. The role will focus on sales derived from our network of Overseas Partners ('agents'). The successful candidate will have global oversight over our network of Overseas Partners, act as a team leader for our Sales team and create & implement successful sales strategies. There will be a particular focus on emerging markets and partner accounts for the company as well as the very important maintainance of existing partnerships. The role will comprise of a high level of customer service related tasks, ensuring that you are a 'one stop shop' for our partners. 

The succesful candidate will report directly to the Group Sales and Marketing Director. 

Job Description

  • Oversight over our network of Overseas Partners. You would be a key point of contact should higher level customer service issues arise
  • A mix of development work with current partners for the company and nurturing of new partner relationships so as to ensure that St Giles is as well positioned as possible within the given partner’s list of schools. Frequent negotiation will need to take place with agents in order to maximise partnerships
  • Intensive account management of partners within Russia and the Middle East, including frequent visits to these markets
  • Monitoring of government sponsored schemes and oversight in tendering for relevant opportunities
  • Regular visits to other vital markets for the company. These markets could be large markets at present or developing markets where closer partnerships need to be fostered
  •  Attendance of key agent workshops
  •  Development of an annual sales plan and monitoring of the budget.
  •  Regular monitoring of our KPIs and development of pro-active strategies to ensure that targets are met
  • Regular liaison with the marketing team to ensure that all strategies are aligned
  • Delivering of rigorous “in-market reports” to inform marketing projects, product development and strategic goals
  • Joint development of new products in collaboration with the Group Sales and Marketing Director and the rest of the Senior Management team
  • Line management of the sales team
  • Induction and continuous professional development training to be carried out with the sales team
  • Annual agent targeted e-marketing content plan to be developed in collaboration with the Group Sales and Marketing Director and the marketing team
