Sales Director, Work & Travel Department (BridgeUSA Summer Work Travel Program)

What we’re looking for:

Greenheart Exchange is seeking a Sales Director for the Work & Travel Department (BridgeUSA Summer Work Travel program). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a sales team while successfully and consistently meeting sales goals. The Sales Director will supervise a team of recruiters who have their own sales goals, while ensuring that Greenheart continues to be known and respected in the industry, especially among the host organizations that hire Summer Work Travel participants. The Sales Director will report to the Senior Program Director and work closely with the Placement Director, in cooperation with various Greenheart departments, especially Marketing & Communications and Compliance. We are seeking someone that has excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, time management abilities, and sales experience. This person should be motivated by program goals, while staying within the compliance perimeter and regulatory standards. In a fast-paced working environment, the ideal candidate will have the ability to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines that are essential in this role. The ability to see multiple perspectives and lead with empathy is crucial to the role.

Responsibilities:

·       Create sales and marketing strategies to meet the sales and placement goals

·       Determine the focus of recruitment (e.g., large scale and high-profile organizations for SWT program) and ensure developed strategies align with participant availability and market demands.

·       Manage recruitment metrics and create benchmarks, as well as actively keep track of progress. This includes creating and sharing periodic progress reports, as well as doing analysis/ROI in recruitment activities.

·       Oversee industry research and lead generating activities, including trade show participation, online inquiry tracking, and strategic marketing

·       Ensure compliance with Department of State regulations and uphold program integrity, while aligning with Greenheart’s mission and values

·       Supervise, mentor and coach the recruitment team, working closely with staff on their sales pipeline and activities

·       Work with the WT Senior Program Director and the WT Placement Director to ensure Account Managers proactively grow existing accounts and while applying sales strategies to grow Greenheart’s host organization portfolio, contributing to the overarching sales and marketing strategies

·       Collaborate with the Marketing Communications department to develop strategies, as well as the relevant promotional materials, templates, and presentations

·       Contribute to cross-selling of other programs and opportunities

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with host organizations and industry associations, representing Greenheart in industry events

·       Ensure smooth transitions of newly recruited host organizations to permanent account managers

·       Maintain Greenheart’s reputation as a leader in the exchange industry by partnering with high quality host organizations and staying abreast to issues that impact local and global communities (e.g., regulatory changes, media influences, etc.)

·       Utilize IT systems effectively to manage program data, track progress, and generate reports as needed.

·       Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development among staff.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree preferred

·       5+ years sales and sales management experience

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possessing exceptional strength in building relationships with diverse stakeholders

·       Collaborative, team-oriented, with the ability to see multiple perspectives and the big picture

·       Excellent organizational, time-management and leadership skills

·       Ability to take initiative and maintain flexibility with job duties

·       Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment

·       Experience with BridgeUSA programs a plus

·       Passion in helping people grow the purpose-driven Greenheart mission

 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
