The Role

We are currently searching for a qualified US student recruitment professional to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for delivering the annual revenue targets for their home region. Ideally the candidate should be based in a major city.

 

Job Description

The successful candidate will be required to help devise and implement their region’s sales plan to ensure student enrollment and revenue targets are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their region; the training, development, and recruitment of the agent network; and working with students, families and international schools to help promote University Bridge across the region. The successful candidate will take a proactive role in the follow-up and conversion of students and will work closely with all members of staff in achieving this. There will be extensive travel across the region, once it is safe to do so.

 

Core responsibilities

·      Contribute to the development and implementation of your region’s sales plan

·      Ensure regional student recruitment targets are met

·      Manage, develop, and initiate relationships with a network of recruitment agents

·      Provide training to key agents and counselors through regular visits and training sessions

·      Support key agents in promotional activities including fairs, exhibitions and interview days

·      Collaborate with the wider team to follow up enquiries and applications to convert and recruit new students

·      Take a lead on follow-up activities to ensure high application to enrollment conversion rate

·      Work closely with all members of the team to ensure that the sales tools to promote University Bridge are available, impactful and effective for your region’s markets

·      Give regular weekly reports on your sales activity

 

Essential requirements

·      A university degree

·      5+ years’ experience recruiting students to US programs (preferably post-secondary)

·      A thorough knowledge of the US university system

·      A large existing network of US focused recruitment agents

·      Fluency in English—other languages desirable

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation skills

·      Determination to achieve targets

 

Desirable requirements

·      A degree from a US university or US study experience

·      Previous experience managing staff

·      Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic
