We are looking for a highly motivated leader to join our Oxford based team and help us take forward this inspirational movement for change by providing services and support to our fast growing number of accredited HPL schools.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the global community of accredited schools through the design, development and delivery of a range of quality services and accreditations for staff at all levels within HPL institutions
  • Collaborate with individual stakeholders so as to integrate learning solutions build engagement and satisfaction within the family of institutions
  • Assess stakeholder needs, communicate findings, develop suitable learning interventions source suppliers, manage budgets, delivery and evaluation
  • Produce high quality reports for CEO and Board to assist with company decision making

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep understanding of the school sector and the wider education context
  • Leadership experience and a proven track record of achieving required outcomes
  • An out-going personality with strong communication and proven networking and engagement skills 
  • Significant expertise in operational delivery and all aspects of project management
  • An understanding of working practices in a high quality, fast growing, mission-driven, global enterprise
  • Expertise in the use of Learning Management Systems,  online course delivery platforms (e.g. Zoom and Teams) and course tools (e.g.Padlett, Nearpod, Quizlet, Mentimeter)

High Performance Learning Services Ltd is an IP, educational services and Accreditation company whose purpose is to support schools and colleges, using the High Performance Learning style of education, to create world class schools. Founded in 2015, and based in Oxford, we have already changed the lives of over 60,000 students, supported the professional development of 8,000 teachers and delivered our programmes in over 100 schools in 13 countries around the world. The number of accredited world class schools and colleges is growing quickly and there is now a substantial body of teachers holding HPL teacher certifications.

This post supports the schools to have reached full accreditation. Schools reaching full accreditation currently grow by approximately 20 per year and the number of schools involved will ramp up swiftly in the future. These schools have adopted HPL and are seeking to proceed on their ambitious journey of improvement, using HPL to secure unparalleled learning outcomes for students. As accredited HPL schools, they are focused on systematising and optimising HPL throughout the school to gain deeper impact and to come closer to the goal of every single student being a high performer.

These schools are experts in contemporary learning sciences. It is a community who together drive what it means to be world class, shaping educational futures with fellow ambitious, like-minded educationalists. They set the standard for other schools to follow and their voice provides thought leadership at a global level.

Participation in The Fellowship of HPL World Class Schools provides each school with access to;

  • Regular institutional support
  • Opportunities for staff at all levels to engage in quality professional development, research and accreditation
  • Student leadership and students event opportunities
  • Networking opportunities that enable HPL World Class Schools to learn from others and/or play a leadership role amongst their peers.

Active participation in The Fellowship of HPL World Class schools is a requirement for re-accreditation as an HPL World Class School.

Person specification - Skills/ Knowledge/ Expertise/Dispositions

  • Strong academic and intellectual capabilities, educated to degree level or beyond
  • Minimum 10 years school education sector experience
  • Demonstrated ability to gain confidence of Senior education staff and organisations
  • Experience of membership type organisations, professional networking and working directly with schools in the UK and internationally 
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a diverse workload; being able to prioritise work and working under pressure
  • Expertise in the use of Learning Management Systems,  online course delivery platforms (e.g. Zoom and Teams) and course tools (e.g.Padlett, Nearpod, Quizlet, Mentimeter)
  • Significant expertise in operational delivery and all aspects of project management
  • Experience of managing others to agreed business and performance targets
  • Understanding of risk management data-safety and online data protection
