As Academic Director, and a member of the INTO Queen’s University Belfast Senior Management Team, you will support the Centre Director in the delivery of the strategic and operational objectives of the Centre.
You will have overall responsibility for all aspects of academic quality and teaching delivery, including the effective management and development of teaching and resource, excellent student experience, and of new product and proposition.
You will lead, inspire, and motivate a team of academic Programme Managers and Teachers, ensuring the student academic experience is of a consistently high standard, is flexible, responsive and meets the needs of all our international students.
You will also lead on accreditation by external bodies, which for us is the Quality Assurance Agency and the British Council.
There will be a substantial stakeholder management with key external and internal stakeholders including Queen’s University Belfast, INTO University Partnerships, British Council and QAA.

INTO Queens University Belfast
The INTO Queen’s Centre, located within walking distance the campus, provides an innovative learning environment for international students studying on the pre-university academic programs or English language courses. Students are offered university-style teaching, including lectures, seminars and tutorials, and a supported e-learning environment dedicated to the welfare of students.
There were over 30 nationalities at the INTO centre in the 2020–21 academic year.
In the 2019-20 academic year, 95% of INTO Queen’s students passed their Pathway program, 93% of which were eligible to progress to Queen’s University Belfast. 97% of students were satisfied with the student services provided.
