Role

We are looking for a new team member to join our Innovative Partnerships Department as Innovative Partnerships Manager. The aim of the Innovative Partnership Department is to support the overall mission of Virtual Internships by identifying new funding opportunities outside of our traditional funding channels. 

This role will involve proposal/grant writing, developing new partnerships and account managing existing and new partners. 

 

1. Proposal/Grant writing (35%)

A key element of this position will involve writing and submitting various types of funding applications to numerous stakeholders, including local authorities, charities, foundations and governments. 

Main activities:

  • Research funding channels 
  • Write and submit applications within the set deadlines
  • Maintain clear record of all applications submitted and their status

 

2. New Partnerships (35%)

As part of the role you will be required to develop new partnerships with key stakeholders. These new partnerships can be achieved through formal channels such as successful bids or through meetings to identify collaboration opportunities. 

 

Main activities: 

  • Connect with new possible partners who share our mission and values
  • Schedule meetings with interested parties
  • Follow up with formal proposals 
  • Keep clear records of the relationships and any next steps

 

3. Account/Project Manager (30%)

Part of this role will involve managing new and existing accounts. This may involve helping with the design of new programmes, keeping partners updated and ensuring the programmes run smoothly by working closely with out experience teams which include Intern Experience Managers and Company Experience Managers. 


 

Skills you will need: 

  • Grant writing experience is preferred 
  • Experience of UK tenders / bid processes in similar or related industries would be useful
  • Previous account/project management experience would be advantageous
  • B2B sales experience 
  • Fluent English
