An exceptional Business Development/Sales professional is required to join the organisation in the next phase of growth to work alongside the existing international team.

Working across the Middle East, you will be a member of the senior executive team. The Director has two primary responsibilities. First, he/she must deploy a deep understanding of the region’s higher education systems and players to engage (alongside the senior leadership team) at senior government levels with officials across the Middle East, to promote and enable 100% online asynchronous education delivery in the particular country. Second, he/she is responsible for building on these engagements by implementing agreed strategies and establishing multi-year contractual relationships with targeted universities for the comprehensive management of their online programs. The process entails working with a number of key university stakeholders, including University Presidents or Vice Chancellors, Provosts or Deputy Vice Chancellors, Deans, Department Chairs, faculty members and business administrators to obtain their buy in and support for the long-term relationship with our client.

Qualifications and experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; Master’s degree preferred. You will have eight to ten years of work experience and proven track record in business development, sales, and/or building strategic partnerships, preferably with universities or other highly complex organizations. Experience in selling higher education services is essential, as is the gravitas and experience to deal with high-level executives. You must possess a strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills. The ability to self-direct and work in an extraordinarily fast-paced and dynamic environment is crucial, as are exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
